Clinic Policies

  1. Email and/or messaging function should not be used for urgent matters. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest emergency department.

  2. To receive medical care with OHIP coverage, a valid Ontario health card must be presented at each visit. Without valid OHIP coverage, you are responsible for the cost of the visit.

  3. Certain services are not covered by OHIP and are considered uninsured. All uninsured services must be paid in full at the time of service.

  4. It is the patient’s responsibility to inform our office of any changes to contact information. Please ensure that your phone number, email address, and mailing address on file are up to date.

  5. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. If you arrive late and miss your designated appointment time, we cannot guarantee you will be seen that day. Late cancellations and missed appointments are subject to a $60 fee.

  6. Please refrain from asking receptionists about your medical care. Medical questions and requests should be directed to the doctor and this typically requires booking an appointment.

  7. We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all. Rude, abusive, or aggressive language and/or behaviour—whether in-person, over the phone, or online—will not be tolerated. Such conduct is grounds for immediate dismissal from our practice.
