Clinic Policies

  1. Email and/or messaging function should not be used for urgent matters. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest emergency department.

  2. To receive medical care with OHIP coverage, a valid Ontario health card must be presented at each visit. Without valid OHIP coverage, you will be responsible for the cost of the visit.

  3. Certain services are not covered by OHIP and are considered uninsured. All uninsured services must be paid in full at the time of service.

  4. It is the patient’s responsibility to inform our office of any changes to your contact information. Please ensure we have your up-to-date phone number, email address, and mailing address.

  5. For scheduled appointments, please try to arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time. If you are late, we cannot guarantee that you will still be seen that day and there may be a fee for appointment rescheduling.

  6. If you cannot attend a scheduled appointment, please provide a minimum of 24-hour notice. Missed appointments will be subject to a no-show fee.

  7. Please refrain from asking receptionists about your medical care. Medical questions and requests should be directed to the doctor and this typically requires booking an appointment.

  8. We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all. Rude, abusive, or aggressive language and/or behaviour—whether in-person, over the phone, or online—will not be tolerated. Such conduct is grounds for immediate dismissal from our practice.
